The stocktaking of existing buildings can be carried out highly efficiently with the EPIQR process. This method evaluates only the most cost-intensive structural elements. These elements are in turn also divided into different so-called element types. For example, the element “supporting structure” includes, among others, also the types “masonry with wooden beam ceilings” and “concrete frame with masonry infill”.
