Element Types

The stocktaking of existing buildings can be carried out highly efficiently with the EPIQR process. This method evaluates only the most cost-intensive structural elements. These elements are in turn also divided into different so-called element types. For example, the element “supporting structure” includes, among others, also the types “masonry with wooden beam ceilings” and “concrete frame with masonry infill”. In this way, the peculiarities of the old real estate portfolios can be reliably mapped in the context of the assessment. In addition, constructional differences are also taken into account.
