Geometric Parameters

The EPIQR process uses geometric parameters to determine the bill of quantities. However, it is sufficient to record six basic values: aboveground GFA, underground GFA, aboveground floors, underground floors, eaves height and also building floor area. And this for residential buildings as well as for all other building types. Using these values, the software then automatically calculates the necessary geometries using object-specific statistics.

This works reliably on the basis of Europe-wide empirically collected data and also statistical extrapolations. In this way, the necessary data input is reduced to a minimum. These so-called initial values can later also be replaced by real data.
