Initial Value Principle

Keeping the expense for data collection as low as possible is also a prerequisite for digitization to really work. Therefore, with the EPIQR process, the assessment of as few geometric parameters as possible takes place according to the pareto principle. Thus it is sufficient to record only six base values, regardless of the type of real estate. This is called the initial value principle. From these, the software then calculates object-specific default values for all required geometries – for facing masonry, window glazing, gutters, etc. This is done with the help of statistical approximations. These default values can then also be adapted accordingly.
